During the Lakeside-Marblehead Lighthouse Festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, step back in time as the Lakeside Heritage Society provides a glimpse into the lives of those who visited Hotel Lakeside during the 1940s.
Hotel Lakeside will welcome guests on a short tour where history will come alive with portrayals of famous people who visited Lakeside. Michael and Pamela Shirtz will provide live music from the era in the hotel lobby.
Bellhop-guided 20-minute tours will take place from 2:30-4:30 p.m. on Oct. 10. Openings are limited, so registration is required. The $10 ticket includes a 1940s-themed treat box.
