Authors & Writing: Jeannie Fleming-Gifford

Join Jeannie Fleming-Gifford for a workshop at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 26 as part of Lakeside’s Authors & Writing Series. This workshop, titled “Writing a Memoir,” will be held in the Fountain Inn Aigler Room.

Have you ever wanted to write a memoir? This hands-on workshop will share the step-by-step process of writing a memoir, from idea to finished product. Bring some paper or a notebook and your favorite writing utensil. Limited additional supplies
will be available.

Fleming-Gifford serves as Lakeside’s V.P. of Programming and is the author of the memoir The Gift I Never Wanted: The Journey of Caregiving and Lessons Learned. This workshop is recommended for adults and children 16+.

Jeannie Fleming-Gifford has a master’s degree in family and consumer sciences with a specialization in child development. She is the V.P. of Programming at Lakeside Chautauqua and a writer who has published a memoir called The Gift I Never Wanted and a children’s book called SymFUNNY. Fleming-Gifford also is a frequent contributor to Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine.
