Join Sandra Engle for a workshop at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28 as part of Lakeside’s Authors & Writing Series. This workshop, titled “What is Magic?,” will be held in the Fountain Inn Aigler Room. Please note this is the last Authors & Writing Workshop of the season.
To children, magic may be the treasures they expect to receive from Santa, leprechauns or the Tooth Fairy. As for adults, so many seem to dismiss any notions of magic as childish and immature. However, every once in a while, something extraordinary occurs that makes one re-evaluate what is possible.
Sandra Engle is a retired school psychologist. She has been a flower essence practitioner and flower essence producer for over 25 years. After experiencing health effects from air emissions from a nearby fracking site, she researched phytoremediation, mycoremediation and other ways to create a healthy oasis within her home and surrounding property.
Nature’s Miracles is an environmental, solution-focused novel that includes the wisdom she has learned within the past 10 years.
