Blessing of the Fleet

During this annual event well wishers gather at the Lakeside dock to watch a procession of watercraft pass by to receive an official blessing offered for their safety that season. The event includes a brief time of praise followed by prayers for boats and boaters alike including large sailboats, Sunfish sailboats, powerboats, kayaks and canoes.

After the blessing, boats are invited to head out into the open waters and watch the sunset.
