Challenge a Checkers Grandmaster

Come and watch the excitement and skill or find your courage and challenge Richard Beckwith, a Checkers Grandmaster and National Champion, to a game of Checkers on Sunday, Aug. 13 from 4-5:30 p.m. on Walnut Plaza.

Be a part of the action as Beckwith returns for another weekend at Lakeside along with fellow Checkers Master and Team USA representative Mark Sokolovsky. Beckwith will play against at least seven participants at a time.

Pre-registration is not required and there’s no cost to participate. Win or lose, a delicious prize is awarded to all participants. The rain location is the Fountain Inn Aigler Room.
