Chautauqua Choir Rehearsal

The Chautauqua Choir returns to Lakeside this summer! The chorus is comprised of singers, ages 13+, with diverse experience and all levels of singing backgrounds.

The Chautauqua Choir rehearses and performs a variety of music, from traditional sacred choral works to gospel and contemporary selections.

The chorus performs during the Chautauqua Community Worship Services in Hoover Auditorium and other events throughout the summer. This chorus is an opportunity for first-time singers who want to try singing in a choir for enrichment, as well as for advanced singers who want a tranquil choral experience. No auditions are required for Lakeside’s Chautauqua Choir.

Singers may sing throughout the summer or for the time they are at Lakeside. The Chautauqua Choir works with various directors throughout the summer.

The Choir rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. at Hoover Auditorium and sings at the Chautauqua Community Worship Service (following rehearsal) each Sunday through September 4.

An entry pass is issued to people who live outside the Lakeside grounds for Sundays from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
