This summer’s Religious Life Seminar series on Christian Biographies, led by longtime Lakesider Dan Moulton, will explore the lives of Jerome and William Tyndale.

Moulton will share the life story of Jerome, who translated the Bible into Latin, on Monday, July 22 from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Train Station.

The story of William Tyndale, who translated the Bible into English, will take place on Wednesday, July 24 from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Train Station.

Moulton was raised on the Marblehead Peninsula and retired here with his wife, Dia, in 2018. Prior to retirement, he spent 39 years in Michigan where he worked in various engineering positions at General Motors.

In addition to degrees in physics/math from Heidelberg College and engineering from Ohio State University, Moulton studied business at the University of Michigan and holds a graduate diploma in Christian studies from Ashland Theological Seminary.

He enjoys adult teaching and has particular interests in historical theology and the intersection of science and religion.
