CLS: Mike Brown “Lakeside a Two Railroad Town”

Mike Brown discusses the most visible clue that a railroad may have been a part of life in Lakeside—a large Depot in south Lakeside. As a matter of fact, there are two depots standing in Lakeside that testify that we were a two-railroad town. Lakeside residents could travel from coast to coast via rail from depots right here in Lakeside in the first half of the 20th century.
