Decades Party: 50s & 60s

Celebrate the 1950s and 1960s at the first Decades Party of the summer in the Pavilion Circle from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, July 9.

Step back in time with rock ‘n’ roll, folk, the Beatles and other music selected by DJ Sean Gill. Attendees are invited to dress up and come for music and dancing.

During the Decades Party, classic cars will be displayed along the perimeter of the Pavilion Circe, weather permitting. Featured cars are a 1953 Singer “Alpine” Roadster, a 1953 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe Convertible, a 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 “Special Edition,” a 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 and a 1964 Ford Mustang Convertible.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Wellness Center Drackett Hall.

The last Decades Party of the summer, celebrating the 1970s and 1980s, will be held Sunday, Aug. 6 from 3-5 p.m. at the Pavilion Circle.
