Island Song Trio

Enjoy afternoon music at the Pavilion with Island Song Trio from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 4. The Island Song Trio features local musicians John Davenport (Guitar), Tim Barrett (Bass) and Bart Kozar (Drums).

John Davenport is a singer/songwriter who has written more than 225 songs from all perspectives and genres, making them relatable to all ages and audiences. Throughout the year, he can be found playing at local bars and restaurants, or recording new material in his studio. Bass player, Tim Barrett, is a retired elementary school principal and former member of the Akron Symphony. Barrett plays the electric cello during performances as well.

The trio’s new drummer is Bart Kozar, lives in Port Clinton and has quickly become an essential element of the band’s unique sound. Kozar has been part of the major music scene over the last 30 years and brings many talents with him to Port Clinton. He plays drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, and keyboard.
