Lakeside Talent Show

Join us for the Lakeside Talent Show at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 20 in Hoover Auditorium. Lakesiders of all ages will present a wide variety of acts. Lakeside’s Marketing Project Manager Hannah Brainard will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.

There will be 16 acts in this year’s show. Among the performances are a musical tribute to Michael Jackson, a piano and violin duet, a musical theater number, piano solos, a guitar-based duet, singing, dancing and more.

This talent show is not a competition. All acts receive a $50 award for being selected.

Registration
We anticipate receiving more submissions than we will be able to include in the show. Approximately 12-15 acts will be selected to perform. If selected, you will receive an email confirmation by June 30. Each act selected will receive a cash prize of $50.

The deadline to submit your video audition is Tuesday, June 27 at 5 p.m. Submit your audition!

Guidelines for video auditions:

1. Please keep your submission under 3 minutes
2. Record your submission horizontally (landscape), NOT vertically
3. Record your submission in an area with good lighting and minimal background noise
4. FOR SINGERS: Please frame your video from the middle of your chest to the top of your head
5. FOR DANCERS/JUGGLERS: Please keep your entire body in the frame
6. FOR GROUPS: Please position all participants in the video frame

NOTE: By submitting a video audition, you agree that your performance act content aligns with the mission, vision, and values of Lakeside Chautauqua. All performance acts must be family- friendly and G-rated.
