All are welcome to the Lakeside Heritage Society’s (LHS) Archives for a book discussion of Lakeside’s 150th Anniversary book at 3 p.m. Mondays from July 8-Aug. 12.
Three of the eight authors of anniversary book will discuss the community’s rich history from its founding in 1873 to present day.
Lakeside’s triumphs, challenges, past and present buildings, notable citizens and visitors, and its many events and activities are highlighted in text and over 500 photos.
One chapter will be discussed in each session. Prior reading is not required. Lakeside’s documentary, “Lakeside Chautauqua: An American Treasure,” will be shown at 2:30 p.m. before the discussions.
