Movie: “Indiana Jones & the Raiders of the Lost Ark”

Orchestra Hall is open on Fridays and Saturdays for fall weekends. Lakeside will feature “Indiana Jones & the Raiders of the Lost Ark” at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. Suggested donation for admission.

This action/adventure film created by George Lucas was released through Paramount Pictures in 1981. It is the first “Indiana Jones” movie ever released and is considered to be chapter 24 in The Complete Adventures of Indiana Jones.

Archaeology professor Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) ventures to seize a biblical artifact known as the Ark of the Covenant. While doing so, he puts up a fight against a troop of Nazis. (PG 1h 55m)
