Movie: “Knives Out”

Orchestra Hall enjoys the distinction of being the only movie theater on the Marblehead Peninsula as well as in all of Ottawa County. Enjoy watching new and classic films in this historic theater.

In the spirit of Lakeside’s Murder Mystery weekend, Orchestra Hall will feature the movie “Knives Out” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30. The movie is free of charge, but Lakeside values donations to support these types of programs.

“Knives Out” is a 2019 mystery starring Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Toni Collette and Christopher Plummer.

The award-winning movie revolves around figuring out how the crime novelist, Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer), suddenly died just after his 85th birthday. Investigators spend time questioning his dysfunctional family and devoted staff to recall the night that led to Harlan’s untimely death. (PG-13, 2h 10m)

Admission and Parking Passes to enter Lakeside Chautauqua are not required for this fall weekend activity.
