Ottawa County Day in Lakeside

Lakeside Chautauqua will again open its gates and offer free admission and parking to Ottawa County residents on Saturday, June 1. If you live nearby, take advantage of all Lakeside has to offer.

Highlights for the day, weather permitting:

• 8 a.m. Fishing 101
• 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Rhein Center Open Studio
• 10:30 a.m. Chair Yoga
• 12-5 p.m. Pool Open Swim
• 7:30 p.m. CeCe Teneal: Portrait of Aretha Concert

In addition to these special events, take advantage of even more Chautauqua programs, including shuffleboard, pickleball, tennis, swimming at the pool and lake, splash pad, parks and playgrounds, nature/walking trail, shopping and dining. Mini golf and waterfront rentals are available for a nominal fee.

Visit the Welcome Center in the South Gate Parking Lot off Route 163 to pick up passes and an events schedule. Proof of Ottawa County residence, such as a valid driver’s license or bill with home address, is required.
