Join comedian Preacher Lawson for a night full of light-hearted jokes and laughter at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 in Hoover Auditorium.
Lawson’s natural onstage charisma and comedy draws in fans of all ages.
He started writing jokes when he was 16 and decided to perform for the first time a year later on a bet with his mother. It was the best decision of his life.
Lawson was a finalist on the 12th season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and placed fifth when he returned to “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.” He’s currently hosting the new America’s Got Talent Las Vegas Live show that is captivating audiences at the Luxor.
In 2015, Lawson won the title of Funniest Comedian in Florida and was crowned the winner of the Seattle International Comedy Competition the following year.
