Therapeutic Yoga Training & Getaway

Lakeside Chautauqua is hosting a Therapeutic Yoga Training & Getaway led by Hanna Fidler, a pre-licensed therapist, E-RYT500 and TSYT, from May 17-19 in the Pavilion Upper Room.

When we gain a deeper understanding of how our bodies function, we can effectively maintain them. One essential aspect of this understanding is recognizing how our bodies and brains respond to stress. Yoga can be instrumental in mitigating the negative effects of stress on both the brain and body. By comprehending the intricate connection between these components, we can start implementing yoga and holistic methods to address them.

Through this training, you’ll have the opportunity to analyze and examine your own stress responses and identify any lingering trauma or stress in your body. You’ll gather valuable information on how to manage stress responses and create a safe and productive environment for yourself and those around you.

The training will include various exercises, open discussions, practical application of yoga through movement and role-playing, as well as dedicated time for solitude, meditation and introspective work.

This transformative training will take place on the serene shores of Lake Erie, providing a peaceful retreat from everyday life. Immersing yourself in this tranquil setting will create the ideal environment to absorb new information and expand your therapeutic skills.

This training offers valuable continuing education hours and culminates in a certification upon completion. Prior experience in yoga, mental health or any specific training is not a prerequisite. However, please note that attendees must be ages 16+, unless approved by a guardian.
