Vespers by the Lake

Join the Rev. Chris Young, Chair of Lakeside’s Religious Life Advisory Team, and the Preacher of the Week for a half-hour evening worship service overlooking Lake Erie at the Steele Memorial Bandstand at a special time of 6:45 p.m.

Vespers includes a brief homily following a time of singing and prayer.

In the case of inclement weather, this service will be held at the Lakeside United Methodist Church Sanctuary (450 Central Avenue).

Guests are welcome to attend Vespers by the Lake free of charge by requesting a complimentary Religious LIfe Pass between 6-7 p.m. Tuesday; valid until 9 p.m. The pass includes admittance for guests and auto. This pass must be presented to the gate attendant upon departure. If the time allotted is exceeded, the guest(s) will be charged a fee. This pass does not include access to the Hoover Auditorium show or Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus pool. Complimentary Religious Life Passes are available for all worship services and Faith for Living Hour.
