To honor the men and women who have served or are currently serving in all branches of the U.S. military, Lakeside Chautauqua proudly designates Saturday, June 20, as Military Appreciation Day.
Veterans and active-duty service members are invited to enjoy free admission and parking at Lakeside by presenting a valid military or veteran ID at the gates.
Veterans receive free admission and parking for themselves and one guest, and active military members receive free admission and parking for themselves and their immediate family.
Admission and parking are valid through 7 p.m. the following day, making it easy to enjoy two days at Lakeside. Book an overnight stay at Hotel Lakeside or the Fountain Inn and use the "Heroes Discount." Visit lakesideohio.com/stay for details.
Throughout the day, take part in Lakeside’s signature Chautauqua experiences, including shuffleboard, pickleball, tennis, swimming at the pool and lake, the splash pad, parks and playgrounds, the nature/walking trail, shopping and dining. Mini golf and waterfront rentals are available for a nominal fee. The celebration continues in the evening with a 7:30 p.m. concert by The Labra Brothers on the Hoover Auditorium stage.
Lakeside residents are encouraged to display American flags throughout the community in appreciation of all who serve.
