Join Kim Chiodi for Power Yoga. This type of vinyasa, or flow, yoga emphasizes strength, flexibility and endurance. It’s physically challenging, fast-paced and energetic, with poses that involve the whole body and breathing that’s intentional and focused.  
 
Power Yoga is a great physical workout that can be scaled up for those who need more intensity or scaled down, all within the same group session. Benefits include improvement in cardiovascular health, muscle tone, overall fitness and stress management.
 
Power Yoga is done on the mat, so there is a fair amount of getting up from and down to the mat, but always in a judgment-free environment. Every session starts with a warmup and ends in savasana, or “rest pose.”
