Lakeside’s Family Night Series is back with a fantastic lineup of entertainment the whole family can enjoy together.
Join us at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, June 17-July 29, in Hoover Auditorium for evenings filled with wonder and surprises. Enjoy mind-blowing illusionists, live animals from the Columbus Zoo, the music of the Lakeside Symphony Orchestra, and a Talent Show starring members of the Lakeside community. Make Wednesday nights your family’s favorite Lakeside tradition.
The Lakeside Talent Show is a favorite community tradition showcasing the remarkable talents of Lakesiders of all ages, featuring a diverse range of acts, from music and dance to comedy, magic, and even Rubik’s Cube solving.
Past performances have included everything from moving musical solos and high-energy dance numbers to a Michael Jackson tribute. You never know what surprises the evening will bring.
The Lakeside Talent Show is a celebration, not a competition. All selected participants will receive a special award. Come cheer on your friends and neighbors in this joyful showcase of creativity and community spirit.
SUBMIT YOUR AUDITION
We anticipate receiving more submissions than we can include in the show. Approximately 12-15 acts will be selected to perform. The deadline to submit a video audition is Wednesday, June 24 at 5 p.m. SUBMIT YOUR AUDITION! If selected, you will receive an email confirmation on Thursday, June 25. - Please keep your submission under 3 minutes.
- Record your submission horizontally (landscape), not vertically.
- Record your submission in an area with good lighting and minimal background noise.
- For Singers: Please frame your video from the middle of your chest to the top of your head.
- For Dancers/Jugglers: Please keep your entire body in the frame.
- For Groups: Please position all participants in the video frame.
