Walkers, joggers and runners of all ages will take to the streets of Lakeside on Sunday, July 26, for the 46th Annual 5K Raccoon Run and One-Mile Fun Run.
The 5K begins at 7:45 a.m. near Orchestra Hall, an earlier start time this year. The course follows the perimeter of Lakeside before finishing at Hoover Auditorium. View the course map.
The One-Mile Fun Run starts at 8 a.m. near the Lakeside Laundromat. This route follows flat terrain along Second and Third Streets and also ends at Hoover Auditorium.
Light refreshments will be available for all participants at the finish line, and awards will be presented immediately following the race on the steps of Hoover Auditorium.
REGISTRATION
Registration includes chip timing, eligibility for age-group finisher awards in the 5K, and a commemorative T-shirt for both race events.
- 5K Raccoon Run: $35/person with T-shirt. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after July 5, 2026. Registration without a T-shirt is $25/person.
- One-Mile Fun Run: $15/person with T-shirt. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after July 5, 2026.
- Groups: $25/person for athletic teams, including a T-shirt. For more information about team registration, email [email protected].
- Admission & Parking: Race registration does not include Lakeside admission and parking passes. Participants must purchase those separately. BUY PASSES AND PARKING!
In-Person Registration is available Saturday, July 25, from 5-7 p.m. on the Hoover Auditorium Porch. This is the final opportunity to register.
