Eastgate Creative will host a filmmaker discussion of the forthcoming documentary series, “The Forge of Friendship.” This five-part series explores the friendship between authors C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien and the experiences, challenges and ideas that helped shape epic tales like The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings.
Attendees will have a chance to discuss the film with the filmmaker and see the first look at the film’s official trailer the evening before.
Produced by Eastgate Creative, a nonprofit film production company dedicated to educational and historical storytelling, “The Forge of Friendship” offers a compelling look at the lives, friendship and lasting influence of two of the 20th century’s most celebrated authors.
