Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre: Last Train Out of Lakeside

Date & Time

Friday September 11, 2026

All Day Event

Step back in time to the Roaring Twenties for an unforgettable evening of mystery, history and interactive entertainment.

Join us on Friday, Sept. 11, at 5 p.m. in South Auditorium as Lakeside is transformed into the year 1927, where guests have gathered for a spirited revival of the traditional American camp meeting. But just as the evening gets underway, everything takes a shocking turn. A detective and local officer burst into the gathering with startling news: a body has been discovered in the quarry! Suddenly, everyone becomes a suspect, and it’s up to you to help uncover the truth.

Set against the backdrop of historic Lakeside and woven together with local area history, this immersive Murder Mystery Dinner invites you to become part of the story. Come dressed in your finest 1920s attire and choose how involved you’d like to be.

Participate as a member of one of the community groups, such as the Flora Sisters, Honeysuckle Homeowners, Birders or Quarry Workers. Or volunteer for a featured speaking role portraying colorful local characters like Barney Rubble, the owner of the quarry; Audi Bridgeman, owner of the Sandusky Bay Bridge; or Tyler Trolly, the owner of the Inter-Urban Trolley.

Whether you’re center stage or simply enjoying the show from your table, the evening is sure to be a "blast!"
