Lakeside Symphony Orchestra

The Lakeside Symphony Orchestra (LSO), established in 1963, is one of Lakeside’s most cherished traditions. Under the direction of Music Director & Conductor Daniel Meyer, the symphony brings classical music to guests of all ages presenting six performances. Also performing will be guest musicians, including pianist Maxim Lando, violinist Timothy Chooi, pianist Soyeon Kate Lee and more. Review our 2023 Summer Concert Series below.

Daniel Meyer

A native of Cleveland, Daniel Meyer studied conducting at the Hochschule für Musik in Vienna as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. He’s a graduate of Denison University and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. As Music Director of the Erie Philharmonic, Artistic Director of the Westmoreland Symphony in Greensburg, Pa., and Director of Orchestral Activities at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Meyer has reinvigorated orchestras with his engaging presence and keen musical intellect.
