As we prepare for Lakeside’s 150th Anniversary season, we’re excited to announce a new way for you to get involved in the community. Whether you’re here all summer or for only a few weeks and love Lakeside, consider joining our new Ambassador Program.
As a Lakeside Ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to share the spirit of Lakeside both within the community and in your hometown. You will be encouraged to invite friends, family and acquaintances to experience Lakeside fully and get involved.
Ambassadors will help greet guests on weekends before the Hoover shows, answer questions at the hotels and host gatherings in Lakeside neighborhoods. We need your help nurturing relationships, so everyone who visits during the 150th Celebration and onward feels a part of our community.
There are four ways you can get involved as a Lakeside Ambassador:
- Lakeside Homeowner Ambassadors will help keep current and new homeowners updated throughout the year and invite them to get involved.
- Social Ambassadors will share Lakeside with their virtual communities by sharing and commenting on Lakeside posts, posting about their Lakeside experiences and encouraging friends to stay up to date with Lakeside e-newsletters.
- Outreach Ambassadors will share the Chautauqua experience with their communities and groups outside of Lakeside, like churches, community groups and youth organizations. We’ll provide you with tools and materials that you can pass along.
- Hospitality Ambassadors will share Lakeside with guests, engaging and building relationships and helping them make the most of their experience. Throughout the summer, ambassadors might help staff a welcome tent in the South Gate Parking Lot, visit with guests in Pavilion Circle or welcome hotel guests in the lobby during peak check-in times.
When you join the Ambassador program, you’ll make new friends, deepen relationships and have fun spreading the word about Lakeside. Our goal is to recruit 40 Ambassadors for the 150th Chautauqua season and spread warmth, hospitality and gratitude. Will you join our Ambassador Program?
