Authors & Writing: Claudia Taller

Join Claudia Taller for a workshop at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21 as part of Lakeside’s Authors & Writing Series in the Fountain Inn Aigler Room.

Claudia Taller leads retreats and workshops through Igniting Possibilities, a business she started in 2008 to encourage people to deepen their connection with God to become more creative, spiritual and passionate about life through writing, creativity and mindfulness practices.

The programming is designed to deepen students’ experience of the intersection of body, mind and spirit. She is a Stephen Minister, a certified yoga instructor, a former Disciple Class student and leader, and the daughter of a United Methodist Minister.

Taller has been a member of North Olmsted United Methodist Church for almost 40 years. She is a frequent Lakeside visitor because she hosts most of her retreats in Lakeside.

As a writer, Taller has written over 400 travel, history and lifestyle articles for local and national publications and four books: Ohio’s Lake Erie Wineries, Ohio’s Canal Country Wineries, 30 Perfect Days, Finding Abundance in Ordinary Life and Daffodils and Fireflies.

She and her husband, Paul, married in 1978 and have three daughters, two sons-in-law and three granddaughters.
