Bradley Temple Dedication

Join us at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, July 2 for a Dedication Ceremony to celebrate the renovations at Bradley Temple.

A brief ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place outside the building, then guests are invited to tour the beautifully transformed space. The ceremony immediately follows the Hoover Community Worship Service and Children’s Church. All are invited to attend.

While Lakesiders have been away, Chip Richter has been working alongside a dedicated construction team to enhance Bradley Temple.

Thanks to the generosity of the Grindley family and many friends, this beloved space has been refreshed, in memory of Ted Grindley. Ted strongly believed that two of Lakeside’s greatest treasures were Chip Richter and God Squad.

This summer, Bradley Temple will welcome thousands of children to experience the joy of God Squad and Children’s Church at Lakeside. It will also serve as the backdrop for Chip’s newest online experience, Once Upon a Porch.

As families and children return to Bradley Temple, they will notice a brand-new set modeled after the signature front porches seen around Lakeside. In addition, there is new seating, carpet, lighting and fresh paint. Behind the scenes, all new sound and video equipment was installed to enhance the experience.
