Aeroponic Tower Gardens:  Magical 3 Feet of Low Maintenance Plant Power Possibilities with Janet Pillsbury

These educational and often hands-on weekly gardening programs are held every Thursday throughout the summer and feature guest speakers and a variety of gardening topics.  The programs are held from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the Train Station unless otherwise noted. Programs are free of charge and registration is not required.

Come learn to garden in a whole new way!  Thanks to the proven technology of aeroponic gardening, you’ll learn how to grow an abundance of plants in just 3 feet of space using 10% of the water you typically do, all with the added bonus of no weeds, no bending over and the ability to grow year-round, indoors and out, with this portable garden.

Janet Pillsbury will share how she has used this system for the past 5 years to grow lots of greens, herbs and vegetables for her family that she knows are the best quality available. Her wellness community has been sharing these gardens for 10 years and have established them in homes, schools, community centers and restaurants all over the country. They are even used to grow the majority of the produce used at Chicago’s O’Hare airport!
