LHS: Abigail Dinner

The dinner will be held Sunday, July 16, 2023 in the Lakeside Table & tearoom. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. During the opening hour, guest will be invited to enjoy conversation and a historic display celebrating the history of the Abigail Tearoom. Mocktails will be available for purchase, and  Ward Catering will generously donate any tips to the Heritage Society.

During the dinner, you will experience menu items popular throughout the years. While these items reflect the times, Ward Catering will prepare and serve the dishes using modern day recipes. Additionally, there will be entertainment celebrating memories of The Abigail.

Come ready to experience a fun evening reliving or learning the history of one of Lakeside’s most cherished restaurants! We invite you to come dressed “as you were” We have at he Abigail whether you were a waitress, kitchen staff or diner. Aprons and period apparel are encouraged, but not required.

Complete menu information can be found on the Order Form. Tickets are $75 per person. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the mission of the Lakeside Heritage society to preserve, promote, and advance the history of Lakeside, the Marblehead peninsula, and the Chautauqua movement in America.
