LHS History & Mystery: Mysterious Fires in Lakeside

Combining history and mystery, the Lakeside Heritage Society (LHS) presents a “Mysterious Fires in Lakeside” presentation at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 in Orchestra Hall.

The origins of two Lakeside fires remain unsolved and suspicious. In 1905, there was a big block downtown fire. In 1962, two cottages on Park Row burned. Sally DePerro, a Lakeside Heritage Society Board member, will lead the presentation and share what we know and don’t know about these fires. Was it arson? Who was responsible? Join us in reviewing the evidence and draw your own conclusions.
