LWC: American Girl Doll Sew-a-Thon

The Lakeside Women’s Club Sew-a-Thon will take place at the Rhein Center on Aug. 24, 25, 31 and Sept. 1 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. A lunch break will occur from 12-1 p.m.

During the Sew-a-Thon, participants will sew American Girl doll clothes and bags for Ronald McDonald Houses. When a little girl comes to the Ronald McDonald House, she will be given a doll (provided by Mattel) and a cloth bag with pajamas, a robe, jeans, and a sundress made by the women from the Lakeside Women’s Club and any other volunteer who wishes to join.
