Lakeside welcomes magician Mike Super back for an exciting show of magic and illusion at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 29 in Hoover Auditorium. 

His life has been characterized by an obsession and passion for magic. Creating the impossible since the age of 6, he introduces families to the mystery of theater. 

As winner of NBC’s hit show “Phenomenon,” Super was voted America’s Favorite Mystifier and is the only magician to win a magic competition on live U.S. network television. He has performed for many celebrities, including Ellen DeGeneres, Jay Leno, Criss Angel and Craig Ferguson. 

Other accomplishments include being named Entertainer of the Year, Best Performing Artist of the Year and Best Novelty Performer of the Year. 

Despite all his success, Super remains humble and insists the loyalty of his fan base is the most rewarding accolade. His legions of fans call themselves “The Superfreaks” and they number in the millions. 

Super has established himself as a magician with a natural ability to entertain and fascinate people. His personality and down-to-earth style set him apart from other magicians.
