Mazza Museum: Painting with Clay

These educational programs will take place at the Train Station at 2 p.m. Tuesdays from June 25-July 30. Registration is not required, and there is no cost. This new series is presented by the Mazza Museum at the University of Findlay. Different presenters will be featured for each session, and it is geared to individuals in kindergarten through adults.

Spread it like peanut butter. During this session on Tuesday, July 23, enjoy creating art using a technique that author and illustrator Barbara Reid uses in her children’s books. Create a beautiful piece of art using plasticine, your fingers and a mat board. This technique is fun, exciting and unusual but so satisfying. Let us show you how to create a picture from clay.

Mazza Museum is the world’s largest collection of original artwork by children’s book illustrators. The museum’s goal is to promote literacy and enrich the lives of all people through the art of picture books. There’s no cost to participate. REGISTER NOW!
