Movie: “A Million Miles Away”

Orchestra Hall enjoys the distinction of being the only movie theater on the Marblehead Peninsula and Ottawa County. It is a historic theater to watch new and classic films.

Lakeside will feature the movie “A Million Miles Away” at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 2. The movie is free, but Lakeside Chautauqua values donations to support these types of programs.

This 2023 biopic is about Jose Hernandez and his path from a farm worker to becoming an engineer and astronaut. It’s a tale of perseverance, community and sacrifice to accomplish a seemingly impossible dream. “A Million Miles Away” is directed by Alejandra Márquez Abella and stars Michael Peña, Rosa Salazar and Julio Cesar Cedillo.
