Movie: “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”

Orchestra Hall enjoys the distinction of being the only movie theater on the Marblehead Peninsula and Ottawa County. It is a historic theater to watch new and classic films.

Lakeside will feature the movie “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17. The movie is free, but Lakeside Chautauqua values donations to support these types of programs.

Greg Heffley is a 12-year-old who is fresh out of elementary school and transitions to middle school, where he has to learn the consequences and responsibility to survive the year.

This 2010 film stars Zachary Gordon, Robert Capron, Rachael Harris, Steve Zahn and Devon Bostick. (PG, 1h 34m)
