Movie: “Jesus Christ Superstar”

Orchestra Hall enjoys the distinction of being the only movie theater on the Marblehead Peninsula as well as in all of Ottawa County. Enjoy watching new and classic films in this historic theater.

Lakeside will feature “Jesus Christ Superstar” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15. The movie is free of charge, but Lakeside values donations to support these types of programs.

“Jesus Christ Superstar” is a 1973 musical starring Ted Neeley, Carl Anderson, and Yvonne Elliman. The “rock opera” styled film tells the story of the final six days in the life of Jesus Christ through the troubled eyes of Judas Iscariot. (G, 1 hr 46 min)
