LWBS Pirate Adventure

The Lakeside Wooden Boat Society (LWBS) will host three Pirate Adventures this summer at 6 p.m. on June 25, July 23 and August 6, weather permitting.

This on-the-water adventure for ages 7-11 mixes a warm lake and cool wooden boats with cheerful children and fun-loving adults. The cost is $5 per child. Register online then visit the Waterfront Rental Center prior to the Pirate Adventure to sign a waiver and pay.

Children are encouraged to wear pirate garb. Parents, siblings and spectators won’t want to miss out as the fun unfolds from the dock. Be careful, you might get wet. Pray for gentle seas — if we have to batten down the hatches, the pirates won’t be able to set sail.
