Pirate Adventure (LWBS)

Ahoy, Matey! It’s time for the Lakeside Wooden Boat Society’s Pirate Adventure where the only objective is fun. Mix a warm lake, really cool wooden boats, cheerful children and fun-loving adults and watch what happens.

Mark your calendars for June 19, July 24 and Aug. 14 at 6 p.m. The Pirate Adventure is for ages 7-11. The cost is $5 per child (ages 7-11). Register online at lakesideohio.com/registration, then visit the Waterfront Rental Center prior to the event to sign a waiver and pay.

Children are encouraged to wear pirate garb. Parents, siblings and spectators won’t want to miss out as the fun unfolds from the dock. Be careful, you might get wet.

Pray for gentle seas — if we have to batten down the hatches, the pirates won’t be able to set sail.
