Join us on July 10 at 2 p.m. located at Orchestra Hall for our Science Rocks! Series: “Star Searching under the Summer Skies,” with Kelley Sommers, STEAM Instructional Coach and Director of the Sidney Frohman Planetarium at Sandusky City Schools. This program is geared for children ages 6-12.

Do you enjoy looking at the sky  and seeing stars at night?  For centuries, people have been looking up on clear nights and gazing at the stars.  We will discuss which stars and planets are visible in the summer skies at night and where they are located.  Stories about the constellations and asterisms will be shared.  Participants will get a star chart and the method of understanding how to use it to find constellations in the sky.

The event is finished.
