Swingmania

Playing the Great American Standards of the Big Band era, Swingmania is a group of talented Toledo area musicians dedicated to entertaining the widest possible audience whether they’re accustomed to the “Big Band Swing Sound” or not. They achieve this goal by projecting their enthusiasm for this music into the audience. The audience responds in a positive way, and a good time is had by all.

From Benny Goodman’s “Sing Sing Sing” to Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York”, this band has all the tunes that you will love. Their musical library, which is the largest in this area, consists of over 2,000 arrangements. All the big-name band leaders are represented, including Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Harry James, Gene Krupa, Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Les Brown, Ray Anthony, Artie Shaw, and many, many more.

This band, led by Jeff McDonald, has performed at major dining and dancing spots in Northwest Ohio area, like the Centennial Terrace and Olander Park in Sylvania, Ohio, the Toledo Museum of Art, The Old Navy Bistro in International Park, Meadowbrook Park Ballroom in Bascom, Ohio, Toledo Country Club, Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton, Ohio, and more.
