Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience bring the sounds of Louisiana to Hoover Auditorium Thursday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m.

For 40 years, two-time Grammy award-winning artist Simien and 8th generation Louisiana Creole, has been shattering the myths about what his indigenous Zydeco roots music is and is not.

His Zydeco Experience bandmates include long time members Danny Williams, keyboards; Stan Chambers, bass; Lance Ellis, sax; Ian Molinaro–Thompson, drums, and Revon Andrews on trombone.

Simien has become one of the most respected and accomplished artists in American roots music. He and his band mates have performed over 9,000 concerts and toured millions of miles to 45 countries during their eventful career.
