Wellness Seminar: Create your Personal Plan for Summer Self-care

Do you have some ideas about what  you need more of in your life to create better health and well-being, but have trouble making them happen?  Join us for this engaging seminar and leave with some tools and action steps to help you move self-care from the bottom of your to-do list to the top. We’ll use a combination of evidence-based behavior change theories, positive psychology, and a coached approach to encourage a spirit of creativity and a “win or learn” attitude. Instead of focusing on what’s wrong, we’ll start with what’s strong and build from there. Bring an idea of something you want to do to care for yourself this summer and we’ll ignite your motivation by creating some will power and way power to achieve your personal goal, while building momentum for your future goals.

Kathy Luhn’s purpose is helping people create joy, better health, and well-being.  She is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES®), a Wellcoaches® Certified Health and Wellness Coach, a Certified Laughter Leader, and Registered Dietitian. Humor and creativity are key ingredients in her life and gifts she used in many ways in her 30+ year career in local public health. Her passion now is promoting self-care. As a recently retired Health Commissioner, she knows first-hand the many challenges of self-care.  Kathy lives with her husband and a very large cat in a very small village in Ohio along the Lincoln Highway – which is apropos because they have two grown sons, one living in New York and the other in California. One of her dreams is to drive the Lincoln Highway coast to coast someday.
