Whirlybirds will perform at the Steele Memorial Bandstand on Wednesday, August 10 at 7:30 p.m.

Whirlybirds describe themselves as ‘modern swing and bop pop.’ Playing New Orleans style Dixieland and pre-WWII era jazz like it’s going out of style, Whirlybirds add their own spin – incorporating more modern elements of jazz, pop, soul, funk. The result is unique arrangements of original music (as well as standards/covers) designed to engage and entertain the audience in a high-energy, live show the audience won’t soon forget.

Whirlybirds are based in Columbus OH, and members include Joe Gilliland on vocals/guitar, Joseph “Brenny” Brenneman on vocals/clarinet, Seth Daily on drums, Jacob Campbell on piano, Nick Simko on vocals/trumpet and Trent Sampson on vocals/upright bass.
