Austin Walkin’ Cane & Friends returns to Lakeside for an unforgettable evening of blues music at Hoover Auditorium Sunday, July 23 at 6 p.m. Please note that this concert has moved to Hoover Auditorium due to the weather. 

Original and classic tunes featuring slide guitar and soulful vocals, this concert is a blues gumbo repertoire that can conjure up the ghosts of Highway 61 and the Delta blues experience.

Cane is a blues singer, songwriter and slide guitarist who performs acoustic solo, duo and electric band sets. He has toured Australia, Nepal, Colombia, France, Germany, England, Wales and the U.S., from New Orleans to Juneau, Alaska, with only a guitar and suitcase in hand.

For his Lakeside show, Cane will be joined onstage by fellow musicians who share his passion for the blues and storytelling. His friends during the performance are Kristine Jackson, vocals and bass; Dave Morrison, vocals and harmonica; and Rod Reisman, drums.
