Drink Commemorative Sesquicentennial Root Beer

Each individual and family has a special Lakeside tradition – donuts, sunsets, rock painting, ice cream, golf cart rides and more! These Lakeside moments, combined with the enriching Chautauqua programs, are what make Lakeside so special and unique.

This week, as we celebrate our country’s independence, we also celebrate the good times that keep families coming back to Lakeside generation after generation. We invite you to participate in a Week of Giving from July 1-7. Here’s how:

• Lakeside is a nonprofit and counts on the generosity of so many. Give a gift to the Lakeside Impact Fund, the endowment or a special project to support Lakeside’s mission.
• Join your friends on Walnut Plaza to drink root beer on Monday, July 3 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and Tuesday, July 4 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., while supplies last! With a donation of $10 or more, you’ll receive a commemorative Sesquicentennial bottle of root beer and a coaster. Families can also donate a gift of $40 or more and receive a 4-pack of root beer and coasters. Available onsite only.
• Commit to volunteering your time and skill set to Lakeside this summer by becoming a Lakeside Ambassador.
• Recreate an old Lakeside photo with your friends and family and share it with us on Instagram or Facebook. Tag us @lakesideohio and #lakeside150
• Share your favorite Lakeside moments with friends and invite them to visit.
