Join drummer Jerry Powell on Tuesday, June 14 at Walnut Plaza and Thursday, June 16 at the Pavilion Jennings East Deck for a lunchtime jam session from 12:30-1:15 p.m.

About Jerry Powell…
An active multi-style drummer, Jerry Powell is one of the most sought-after drummers in the Columbus, Ohio and Detroit music scenes. In addition to performance, Powell is an active percussion educator in central Ohio. Currently through the A+ Academy, he leads one of the largest drumlines in the state and is active in providing quality music education to students of all ages. His groups, the Jerry Powell Quartet and the Jerry Powell Experience, are both eclectic bands that showcase a variety of talent and artistry and refreshing fusion of Jazz, Neo Soul and R&B. Powell holds a bachelor’s degree in jazz studies from University of Toledo.
