Lakeside Art Walk & Night Market
Lakeside Chautauqua will host its first Art Walk & Night Market from 12-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept.17. All are invited to this free community event.
Stroll through the charming streets of Lakeside and the downtown business district to browse and purchase unique pieces of art, meet the talented artists, and gain a deeper appreciation for the local art scene. The Art Walk & Night Market will showcase the work of artists, potters, woodworkers, jewelry makers, glass artists, quilters, soap makers and more.
This new event for the whole family also features a variety of food options and live entertainment throughout the day on Walnut Plaza. Stay late to see the downtown area illuminated in lights.
“I envision this new event to pique the interest and appreciation for the arts in the local community,” explains Renee Flynn, proprietor of Ohio Arts Festivals and the event’s coordinator. “This family-friendly event encourages a gathering of neighbors and friends in a beautiful setting and an opportunity to explore and support local businesses.”
More to Do
In addition to the Art Walk & Night Market, Lakeside will offer creative arts at the Rhein Center’s Open Studio from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and feature the movie “American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story” at 2 p.m. in Orchestra Hall with a suggested donation for admission. Shuffleboard, miniature golf, tennis, pickleball, basketball, sand volleyball and select wellness classes will be available throughout the day.
